GAME OVERVIEW: The idea of this game is for players to get a sense of where European countries are located, what they look like on the map, and to learn basic(i.e. capital cities) or fun facts about each country. The quiz poses 5 levels of difficulty. You can set the level by tapping 1 thru 5 on screen or using your keyboard. 1 is the easiest level - country capitals. The higher the number the more challenging the fact.
Once you start, a blurb/fact about a specific European nation comes to screen. Read it. If you want the answer choices to appear with the COUNTRY NAMES, showing, click on the GREEN icon.
If you feel confident enough to find the right country by map only(no country names), then click the PINK HIDE NAMES icon.
An array of 5 random countries will appear. Choose the country that matches the fact. To get a closer look, move your cursor over a map or type the letter of the choice(a-e) you want to magnify. You can also zoom between choices by typing Z on your keyboard.
SCORING: Correct guesses score the points remaining on the COUNTDOWN CLOCK (upper right corner of screen) plus the Q-value. You can makes multiple guesses until the countdown clock expires. Caution EACH WRONG GUESS costs you - 10 POINTS. The game ends when you run out of questions(48 for a full round). To end the game sooner, click the EXIT GAME at the bottom right of the screen.
